Sessions for individuals and groups

A planting activity with a client who lives with dementia

From sowing peas to planting flowers for bees, we’ll make sure that you start having fun in the mud.

Each therapeutic gardening session is designed to have a positive impact on wellbeing by engaging with nature and the outdoors.

Our services include one-to-one therapeutic sessions for people living with dementia so they can continue to enjoy their garden safely at home (this service can be combined with garden maintenance if required).

We understand how difficult it is for people who are now unable to be as active in their gardens as they would like. That’s why we offer a garden maintenance service to bridge the gap between what a client would like to be doing and what they can manage physically.

Gardens, tools and equipment can be modified to help reduce the physical stresses often associated with gardening for older people. We have a range of easy-grip tools for those with weak grip strength due to conditions such as arthritis.

Many of our activities can be adapted for the indoors so you do not always need an outdoor space to enjoy our sessions.

Tasks are tailored around the needs of the individuals. We work with all ages and abilities.

Please get in touch for a friendly chat to see how we can support your requirements.
